Level 1 Coach
The Level 1 award is for those new to paddlesport coaching. The qualification is not discipline specific and is therefore suitable to coaches who wish to work with paddlers from any of the competitive and non-competitive paddlesport disciplines.
Level 2 Coach
The Level 2 Coach award is the next step to becoming an independent coach who whish to work with competitive and non-competitive paddlers.
Level 3 Coach
The BCU are currently redesigning the national coaching awards for canoeing and kayaking in the UK. All the necessary information needed to choose and book these courses will be released on this site as soon as they are finalised by the BCU.
Level 4 Coach

Level 5 Coach
KJO offer free mentoring opportunities to a limited number of Aspirant Level 5 Coaches. If you are interested in being mentored by one of our L5 coaches please send us an email with your name, contact details and your paddlesport discipline. We’ll arrange for one of our L5 coaches to contact you to further discuss mentoring opportunities.
Coaching Processes
This is a two day course designed to look at simple processes and good practical application of coaching fundamentals. It is the perfect catalyst for further professional development within paddlesport coaching. Our staff, highly regarded in this field and drawing on a diverse range of disciplines, will open your mind with a variety of theory and practical session both class room and outside based.
