3 Star Award Surf
Get yourself off to a flying start in surf kayaking. This fun 2 day training course provides the fundamental skills needed to get the best out of the UK surf beaches.

At the end of your training we suggest a development phase. This provides time to consolidate your new skills. We will provide advice and help you to construct an action plan to continue your development and measure your achievements.
What experience do I need to go for my training?
The minimum requirements for 3 Star training:
- It is recommended that you hold a 2 Star Award or equivalent level of ability.
- In order to get the best out of your course we would also recommend that you have flat water roll, but this is not essential.

After my training what does the assessment involve?
To move on to your assessment you will need to fulfil the following:
